Toyota Innova facelifted launched in Malaysia

UMW Motors Malaysia, the distributor and assembler of Toyota cars in Malaysia recently launched the new facelifted version of their highly popular MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) Toyota Innova.

 

This was the one which was recently put on show at the July Indonesia International Motor Show and will now come in 3 variants. One can choose between the RM97,500 2.0 E manual version or the automatic one which is priced at RM102,500. For the top of the range version, the 2.0G automatic version is priced at RM110,600.

One of the major changes that you will find in this would be the front grille where it gets the new design while the sides have been given some strengthening as well. The 205/65R15 tyres now wrap around the new 15 inch alloy wheels design while they have also put in new tail lights as well. Insde the car, they have also put in new looks as well while the steering wheel have been given a new 4 spoke dressing.

As with most facelifts, there are no changes to the engine in this one where it comes with the same 2.0 liter 1TR-FE engine with either the 5 speed manual transmission or the 4 speed automatic transmission gearbox. The E models come with only 1 airbag for the driver while the G version is fitted with 2 SRS ones while all are fitted with ABS.
