Toyota to recall Lexus LS460, UMW launches campaign for Malaysian owners

At the moment, no accidents or any sort have been reported and the company will begin filing the documents with the authorities in the US government starting this week regarding the recall. Toyota has gone through a series of recalls in the past few months where over 8 million vehicles have since been involved.

On this issue, the Malaysian exclusive distributor of Lexus cars, UMW Toyota Motors will be running a special service campaign for the LS460 model with regards to the problem. The campaign will involve the LS460s which are produced between August 2006 and July 2008 and will rectify the problem with the valve springs which as mentioned will cause the moving car to stall. According to UMW, they will be contacted the 100 over owners of the LS460 and that the problem is not found in other Lexus models.
