Toyota to unveil Levin-inspired Toyota GT 86 in Tokyo

Japan’s largest automaker Toyota is unveiling their new Toyota GT 86 at the Tokyo Motor Show. This would be the world debut of the Levin-inspired model which has been widely anticipated for a while now.

The compact model will be a 2+2 model which will be built from the ground up where it will come with a rear-wheel system on its engine in front. The engine is powered up with either the 6 speed manual or automatic transmission gearbox which also comes with paddle shifters on the steering wheel.

The GT 86 will be boosting out some 197 horses and is set to be one of the lightest, low intertie and low center of gravity models in its class. Measuring at 4,240mm long, 1,285mm high and 2,570mm wide it is set to be the most compact sports car in its segment which was drawn from the super-famous Levin or Corolla GT AE86 model.

It will also come with 17 inch wheels handled by front MacPherson struts and read double wishbones as well as ventilated disc brakes.

As much as it is a sports car, it sits 4 people comfortably while inside you also get ergonomic seating positions too. Apart from that, you also get to fold down the seats behind so that you have more space which will put in 2 golf bags without any hassle.
