UMW launches face-lifted Toyota Camry

Both the 2.0 models come with 16 inches wheels while the top of the range model 2.4V comes with 17 inches. The 2.0E is priced at RM144,900 while the 2.0G goes for RM154,990 and the 2.4V is at RM174,990. All modesl comes with really cool looking rear tail-lights which uses LED lighting.

In terms of performance, the 2.0liter models gives you a 147 horsepowers at 6,000rpm and torque of 190Nm at 4,000rpm while the 2.4liter engine gets you up to 167 horsepowers at 6,000rpm and 244 torque at 4,000rpm powered through its 5 speed Super ECT gear box. The 2.0 on the other hand is powered through its 4-speed Super ECT transmission gearbox. Apart from that, the 2.4V comes standard with the Remote Control Unit which activates the Smart Entry and Start system which effectively disengages the door locks and the immobilizer. Starting the car too can be done with the button which is the manner by which you can open the car boot as well using another button at the rear end of the car. The 2.0G though is fitted with the Cruise Control System which was not available in the previous version.

All three models come standard with ABS while the 2.4V gets the VSC Stability Control and Traction Control respectively. In its interior, all the models do look pretty similar especially with the upholstery. Where this is concerned, both the 2.4V and the 2.0G models are fitted with perforated leather trim on the seats while the entry level 2.0E doesn’t. Apart from that, this luxurious looking car comes cool with audio features like connecting the console to the iPod or any MP3 player. Otherwise, most of the features in the previous versions are still the same, but the facelifted version definitely gives the looks of this car that little added something.
