Following the success of the Toyota Prius and the recently launched Prius C, UMW Toyota Motor, Malaysia’s distributor and assembler of Toyota cars will be bringing in another variant of the internationally popular hybrid which will now be the 2013 Toyota Prius C TRD Sportivo.
This of course means that the Prius C now comes with a sportier version tuned up through the TRD Sportivo emblem. Basically the car has not arrived here yet but they are taking orders for it already. So if you have always wanted the Prius and is also a fan of speed and sportiness, this would be the ideal one for you. There pricing are RM103,990 in Peninsular Malaysia while those in East Malaysia would have to pay a bit more. Sarawak buyers would need to pay RM105,936 while Sabahans can get their hands on this one at RM105,886. Meanwhile for the tax free zones of Langkawi, the Prius C TRD Sportivo is sold forRM98,236 while Labuan buyers would have to pay RM99,203.
There would be 4 colours available in this one which is the Silver Metallic, the Black Mica and the Super Red V while the Lime White Pearl CS will cost you RM800 more. Other than there, the specifications are very much similar while they also put in some original TRD Sportivo fittings as well LED DRLs and such.
