Vauxhall Astra Turbo Coupe is more than just how it looks

Previous Vauxhall cars have been criticized for being old fashioned, square looking and such and perhaps they have taken all that into consideration and given its new Astra Turbo Coupe quite a new look. Although it has been designed from the previous version, it has been completely revised with a longer and wider cabin size.

The car comes fitted with the 1.4 liter Turbocharged petrol engine which has 2 very important features. First of all, it is powered by 138 horses which is very fast for its size and on top of that, it has got extremely good handling system which is quite a surprise. This, as far as we can understand is because it applies a torsion beam rear axle which apparently is a way cheaper solution as compared to the competitors like the Golf and such. Apart from that, the electronic chassis system and its Under-steer control system, the tyre pressure monitoring system and the deflection detection system all work together with its Hill Start Assist and towing stability programs.

There are quite a lot of technicalities which Vauxhall has put in to ensure that this coupe delivers the goods in the best possible manner. Seriously, this car is something which one would like to try out because if you think that speed and handling is the few things you are looking for, it is also very light weight. It’s a pity we do not get cars like these over here but mentioning it might just prompt some grey car dealers to actually consider that. This car has technology all over it and the Vauxhall designers surely know how to pack a good car with great equipments.
