Volkswagen Malaysia has brought in another variant for its already popular Volkswagen Passat.
This is where the Volkswagen Passat Sport is launched which is the sportier version among its siblings. The Passat Sport is priced at RM190,967.20 on-the-road without insurance and is a CBU (Completely Built Unit).
It is powered up with the 1.8 liter TSI engine paired with the 7 speed DSG gearbox which takes only 8.5 seconds to reach the hundred mark while the top speed is at 220km/h. It is different from the stock version where it comes with the 18-inch ‘Kansas’ alloy wheels and wrapped with 235/40 tyres and sports suspension system.
It also comes with the ‘Press & Drive’ comfort start system, a dual-zone Climatronic system, an electric parking brake and cruise control too. Inside you also get Vienna leather and bi-xenon lamps while entertainment is channelled through its RCD510 touch-screen ICE system matched with a 6-CD changer and boosted through its 8 speaker surround system.
If that is not enough, you also get a tilt/slide electric sunroof and electrically foldable side mirrors too. With all that in place, the Passat Sport would surely be quite a steal since it is only a few thousand more than non-sport Passat.
