A family sedan is one which usually is a 5-seater vehicle which is large enough to fit the whole family and lots of luggage space. This car starts from RM76k which means it is perhaps the most affordable and economical one in this segment.

Peugeot 408 – Dispelling the local perception that maintenance is high, Peugeut cars are surely making an entrance in the Malaysian market. Price starts from RM106k.

Chevrolet Cruze  – Available in 1.8 version, this model starts around RM104,000 which has one of the best and most comfortable drives around. The Chevrolet might not be the most popular brands in Malaysia but its popularity is surely rising as drivers are opting for performance and value-for-money.

Citroen C4 – This might not be a local favourite among Malaysians but if all factors considered, its 1.6 engine and RM125,000 price tag might be something attractive as it means lower fuel consumption, better efficiency and some of the most fun technologies around.
