Proton wins two green awards with Exora REEV

The race was organized by the UK’s RAC which included 17 categories and this would be the largest event in the world for cars developed with future and new, alternative fuel technologies that include low-emission internal combustion engine passenger cars, hybrid and electric vehicles.

For Proton, it was yet another remarkable achievement when the REEV won the Best Overall Extended Range or Plug-in Hybrid vehicle category while it also won the Most Energy Efficient Multi-Purpose Car-Prototype category. As icing on the cake, this is the second time it has won something at the event where it took home the Best E-Rev Vehicle Award last year.

The Exora REEV used for the competition was a result of the Frazer-Nash Research Limited and Proton collaboration and it has been earmarked for production where it is currently being tested by government ministries and agencies in Malaysia.
